Sky Documentaries have released a 3 part series on Robin Garbutt titled ‘Murder at the Post Office’. This was released on 29th December 2025. We have shown a link below to the trailer.

As a family our hope for the documentary was for the viewers to question/cast doubt on the lack of evidence at the trial and question the conviction and investigation and we believe that it does.

Our late Mark Stilborn so wanted this to be filmed but is sadly not here to view it with us, his and Sallies sad and emotional work. We sat nervously, tears falling at all the wounds we have of the time of losing Diana and then facing losing our Robin to this horrendous unfair miscarriage of justice.

The viewing was brutal, bits cut that we felt were important and other people saying what they ‘feel’ about our precious family. However, we do understand that they needed to portray both sides. But for us it is our life, as it is for Robin and Diana’s friends. We live with this daily. Our weekly visits to Robin for 15 years is a reminder of our loss of Di and the miscarriage of justice to Robin.

We hope now it is shown to viewers the huge lack of physical evidence and the wrong evidence to put our innocent Robin behind bars. But even worse that no justice has been done for Diana.

Marks and our hope for doing the documentary was to again, convince the CCRC that there is doubt to the safety of his conviction in the hope that this will lead to a retrial to get Robin home so the real fight to get the justice for Di can begin.
